Recovery
Environnement Sanivac is a member of SOGHU "La Société de gestion des huiles usagées" (Management Company of waste oils). The SOGHU is a non-profit organization ensuring that companies meet the requirements of the Regulation on the recovery and recycling of used oils, used oil and fluid containers, and used filters and incorporated in accordance with Part III of the Companies Act (Quebec). This certificate is recognized by Recycle -Québec and makes the organization authorized to manage an integrated program on the recovery and recycling of this products, and on user awareness.
More than 1,500 customers (garages, dealers, sawmills, factories and other industries) trust Environnement Sanivac Inc. for the recovery and management of waste oils, hazardous substances and their derivatives.

Environnement Sanivac has a water treatment system for hydrocarbon contaminated waters on the premises of its headquarters in Alma.
The management and disposal of hazardous materials are done in barrels or in bulk and this process complies with the legal requirements of the environmental standards in recovery, storage and recycling of hazardous materials. The recovered wastes are then directed to recycling and/or delivered to authorized sites. Waste oils are filtered and analyzed in order to assign a value (???) for companies who are authorized and have the facilities to burn the used oils to bring out the calorific value.
Among its services, Environnement Sanivac’s customers can rent or purchase purpose-built tanks of various sizes to wash parts with solvents. We also replace certain industrial solvents with unscented products and with very low levels of aromatic compounds. These alternatives are safer, both for the workers’ health and the environment.
